We headed down to Babbacombe for some Ocean Diver training on Saturday. The vis was OK at high tide (4-5m), although at low tide this was somewhat reduced. Still, training was productive and well done to Freya who completed her Ocean Diver qualification!

Currently all the spider crabs seem to be moulting their shells and there were thousands of discarded shells as well as big pile ups of crabs. We also saw two baby cuttlefish, lots of bib under the pier, and two friendly seals. One of the seals had a fishing line and hook stuck in it, which Chris tried (unsuccessfully) to remove. Thankfully we’ve been told that it is out of the seal today.
