Hello everyone! I\u2019m Dom, a soon-to-be second-year computer science and electronics student. I\u2019ll be taking on the role of secretary, handling all your email and membership renewal needs. I\u2019m super excited to get more hands-on with the club, from working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly, to going to the pub, and (Poseidon willing) doing copious amounts of diving.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hi, I\u2019m Alex. I learned to dive with UBUC during my third year at Bristol and I have since become addicted to the underwater world. I\u2019ve since progressed to become a Dive Leader and Open Water Instructor. During my fourth year, I was the club Secretary and I\u2019m now looking forward to taking on the role of Training Officer. Although I\u2019ve now graduated, I\u2019ll be sticking around Bristol to continue to get my fix of diving with UBUC. \nHey everyone! I\u2019m Olly and I\u2019ll be your new treasurer for the next year. I got into diving quite recently starting with UBUC last year and am now hoping to get my sports diver training finished off so I can go on more and more dives. I also decided I wanted to be part of the committee to get even more stuck in. When I\u2019m not faffing with my mask and regs I\u2019ll be faffing with the accounts and trying my hardest not to embezzle funds (a joke I promise!!).<\/span><\/p>\n

Hi everyone i\u2019m Kaden, i\u2019m a 4th year engineering student and will be your new equipment officer! My job will be to make sure all the kit is safe and ready to be used for trips (there are far too many engineers on the committee this year to not have working ribs ). If you can\u2019t find me, chances are i\u2019m hanging onto some dead coral trying to get a cool picture, or eating. I\u2019ve been told I can come across quite unapproachable at first, so if you want to come and say hi \u2013 please don\u2019t.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hi, I\u2019m Sam and I am going into my 2nd year studying civil engineering. I only joined the club this last year and have (just about) completed my OD. Despite my evident lack of diving experience, I\u2019m excited to take on the role of Assistant Equipment Officer and learn more about diving and the club. I\u2019ve been a proud member of UBUC since 2022 and am a third-year mechanical engineering student, so I like to think I know my way around a boat (or at least how to fix one!). When I\u2019m not submerged in textbooks or the ocean, you might find me tinkering with engines to get them up and running \u2013 or at least attempting to.
