Bad weather saw us having to unfortunately cancel a weekend trip to Babbacoombe, but we were still able to go to Vobster for Anna, Josh and Sam to complete some Ocean Diver training and me, Emily and Jo to do some Sports Diver training. On our first dive we focused on learning how to use a distance line down near a sunken plane fuselage, and a second near a sunken boat for compass navigation skills. Chris somehow managed to get inside the sunken ship and pretended to drive it, which was really funny and made trying to laugh and keep a reg in your mouth – really difficult! Overall, we ended the day with two passed Ocean Divers, Jo successfully doing her rescue lesson and qualifying as a sports diver, and the rest of us well on the way to our next qualifications!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
