                Lectures normally go on throughout the Autumn term, sometimes continuing into the spring term.  Normal UBUC procedure varies but traditionally

the ocean diver lectures have been immediately followed by the sports diver lectures. The rational is that it is important to get divers to Sports as soon as possible so that they can do the IFC. Ocean divers cannot contribute back in the same way that sports divers can and UBUC is reliant on progression to Sports Diver + IFC for its survival. Lecture rooms are normally booked a term in advance and so booking the lecture rooms for the Autumn Term in June is normally one of a committees first tasks.
