Dispose of old Flares

Old pyrotechnic flares can be dangerous and must not be thrown out with normal waste or left anywhere where the general public can come into contact with them. The local MRCC can advise on how to dispose of flares safely. Setting flares off eg on Guy Fawkes is an illegal misuse of distress signals SOLAS V.
