Instructions

Inspect Unit

Open the Oxygen box and check the unit is dry and clean. Verify that the cylinder being used has an indate O2Clean. Verify that the gas is indeed pure oxygen TexOxOperation.

Check Contents

Connect the unit to one of the oxygen cylinders. Ensure that in addition to the first stage and demand valve, the unit contains. Cushion Mask, EAR Pocket Mask, Therapy Tube, 10l Probe and Din Male O2 Pin Block. The kit should contain a copy of DDRC accident manual and a usable Pencil for record keeping.

Check DV Unit

Clean DV and masks

Inspect Flowrate

Repack and Record

Dry out Silica Gel Sachesin an oven. Pack away the kit and record any observations and condition for the Equipment Officer.

Record

Verify that a UBUC Label is attached and log completion of the inspection, the items operational status and any conditional comments.
