Instructions

Inspection

Verify that the radio is complete, check that the dials can be turned and buttons pressed. Charge the battery overnight using charge VHF battery overnight using the VHF Chargerthen leave it on listen for a day to verify that the battery holds sufficient charge to power the unit for 7 hrs. Arrange a radio check on channel 72.

Record

Verify that a UBUC Label is attached and log completion of the inspection, the items operational status and any conditional comments.
