                        This is the first step in the mixing of Nitrox mixtures and it is covered within the BSAC Gas Blending Course. The procedure is simple bit care and cleanliness are important when dispensing 100% Oxygen. The Cylinder to be decanted into must be in an Oxygen Clean state. The hoses are attached and the needle valve is closed. The J valve is opened first, then the guage is switched. The needle valve is opened so that the pressure begins to rise slowly. Then it is opened on extra turn and the cylinder valve is opened.
                        The rate of pressure increase within the diving cylinder must not exceed 4bar per min.
