On Sunday Chris, Simon and I went for a day of training at Vobster Quay. The plan was to complete Simons last OD lesson and try and complete the remaining lessons of my SD. Our first dive was the distance line SD combined with the OD navigation lesson. The quarry was pretty chilly at around 7-8 degrees. We saw two whole fish! Chris and I then did the SMB and DSMB / Compass Nav sports diver lesson, getting down to about 20m to see the old sunken boat, plus 4 DSMB deployments…

After a quick break the three of us headed back out to do the diver rescue lesson. We both managed eventually but struggled with a tricky and very muddy exit from the water! Overall a productive day with two more qualifications sighed off.
