CRUNCH BEEP “LEWIS”!
A nice evening of packing cars began with potential for multiple divers to get trained but with sadly one fewer instructor than needed, some fun diving in the winters cold of Vobster was required.
6 am alarms go off. Divers clamber out of bed, some venturing for the showers, others concluding that it’s already far too cold and it’s only going to get worse from here. Journeying to Vobster, some might have thought the rain would hold off, but with a red rain alert in place it was unlikely to hold for long. And as the clock struck 8:30 and we pulled into the car park of Vobster, the heavens opened.
10 am. A mildly shivering Joe, having emerged from his first open water dive (in 8 degrees Celsius!) decided it would be a sensible idea to warm his frozen hands with boiling water. However with the boiling water being far too hot, he resolved to mixing it with cold coffee and pouring it down the front of his wetsuit!

2pm With Jack and Amelie enjoying a cold fun dive to a plane cockpit and through the Vobster tunnel, and Sophie and Theo shivering through compass navigation, the crew wrapped up diving at Vobster and preceded to race to the closest Maccies.
3pm With Joe millimeters behind Lewis in the race, a sudden flick of red lights placed Lewis first at McDonald’s. Naturally, hamburger, no lettuce no onion no bun no patty. Extra pickles.
One black tea please.

3:25pm here’s your Americano. Patty and pickles, lucky you.
4:30pm CRUNCH BEEP “LEWIS”. UBUCs latest crash since Ben Taylor collided with flatbed in pk. Joe speedily revered into Jacks stationary (hand break applied) car. Poor Winona has had an accidental face lift, and it might leave a scar…
