Brixham Breakwater is situated in Devon (south-west of England). It is a great shore diving site for new ocean divers. It on a North facing shore within Torbay so it is protected from all winds, except north easterlies. There is a flat sandy seabed (with lots of scallops and occasional cuttlefish) straight out the the north. There is also a shallow reef to the west of the shore. Care must be taken not to swim to far to the east as the current can pick up towards the headland. There is a webcam on top of the café by the breakwater so you can check the weather and sea state before leaving Bristol. Brixham Dive Shack can be used for air fills; they will come and collect and then drop your cylinders back for you.
